Meetings at Holy Trinity Parish Church in July

I am sure you will all be pleased to hear that we have managed to arrange a venue for the Group to meet up, at least for the time being.  Holy Trinity Parish Church has a Refreshment Area in the church with tables and chairs and facilities for making a drink.  They have kindly allowed us to book this fortnightly, for the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 2.30pm to 4.00pm and there is parking available in the church car park. Occasionally, we may have to cancel a meeting due to events taking place in the Church.

Meeting at Birmingham Central Library

This will leave the 4th Tuesday of each month free for members of the group if they want to meet in the Birmingham Central Library for research purposes.  This Library opens at 11.00am and I suggest that you arrive at that time. If you order archival items from the Wolfson Centre in advance, that booking would last for the whole day. Camera use costs £3.50 per day (no flash photography – images taken at the discretion of the archivist on duty).

Any group matters can be dealt with before members go their separate ways, i.e. to the Wolfson Centre or just to peruse the library shelves.

If you want to order anything from the Wolfson Centre, to be looked at in their separate room, then I suggest you make your booking as soon as possible, as they sometimes get booked up early.

At present, nothing is set up specifically for the group to meet up together anywhere, for instance around a table, but if our number increases and makes it desirable then we can ask the Library about that.
